Students at St Joseph's School Hopetoun celebrated their annual program for swimming.

After four weeks of lessons developing confidence in the water, stroke technique and water safety skills, students eagerly took to the pool to demonstrate all they had learnt.

The day was a mix of competitive races alongside fun novelty events and team relays, ensuring every child had the opportunity to shine.

From determined freestyle finishes to laughter-filled noodle races, the pool was alive with encouragement and energy.

Families turned out in great numbers, lining the poolside to cheer on swimmers and lend a helping hand during the day.

Their support created a fantastic community atmosphere and highlighted the strong partnership between home and school.

Everyone enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch, with all funds raised from the lunch being donated to Project Compassion, supporting communities in need.
